Eden by the SeaSomewhere along the coastlines in the state of Maine, is a small yet mysterious, seaside town named Edens Bay. The home to many people who wish to escape the busy city life and want to enjoy the peace and calm that the small town has to offer. Many years ago, there was a wealthy man that stepped onto these lands and claimed it as his, eventually he managed to convince several friends and family to move along with him as he offered them peace and a fresh new start for those who wished so, they wouldn’t have to worry about the city and its problems, offering them a place that he considered as an ‘Eden’, thus naming it Edens Bay as it was close to the sea.But it wasn’t all that peaceful and calm as most people would say…As years pass, several parts of the forest have been closed off by government officials, claiming that they had bought parts of the land off the owner, no one knew what they were doing as nothing about the forest had changed if they planned on building property… The only thing that did change in the end was the town itself and its inhabitants. People started to slowly disappear one by one, leaving no trace of their whereabouts. Some are suspecting that they wandered into the forest and got taken by a wild animal of some sorts. No one knows what happened, and their cases remain unsolved. There have been several complaints about the locals having problems sleeping and seeing things in the middle of the dark, a pair of red eyes amidst the trees. Doctors couldn’t figure out if it was a roaming illness or just something psychological. Without proper evidence or initiative from the mayor's office, it was left alone. The year is now 1989.. Edens Bay is still quiet, everyone is living their normal everyday lives as if nothing was bothering them. But you cannot help but be even more curious about it, eventually the town starts to change you. There is something strange about this town that you cannot put your finger on.

More about the town itself...

The town is mostly surrounded by nature and sea, the nearest town being about 4-5 hours away by drive. However, it is possible to take the bus or the ferry if one does not own a car.
There is only one road that goes in and out of town through a tunnel in the mountains, should anything happen to said tunnel well..

The community college offers Biology/Sealife Studies/History/Journalism/Literature/Art.One can almost live anywhere in town, up the hill, by the shore, or in the middle of town. You decide where you want to live.In the outskirts of town is where the farmlands start, acres of harvests enough to supply the locals and several cows and sheeps. There is also a vetrinary clinic that treats small house animals and farm animals alike.Beyond the farmlands is the beginning of Woodcreek Forest, several parts of it that leads up into the mountains has been barred off by the Government, but it is also a frequent area for people to disappear as well.
